tspi was formed in 2007 by Teresa Simmons, who for over 20 years, worked for her father Sonny Simmons of Century II Promotions, Inc.
Since the age of 19, Teresa worked along side her father, learning from him as well as countless peers she considers a priviledge to have as her mentors.
The late Sonny Simmons was not only well known, but also well loved by many artists, agents, managers, and buyers throughout the music industry. Sonny was recognized in his long career in the business by Elvis Presely and countless others as being one of the greatest Southern Gospel music promoters of all time. Century II Promotions was home to some of the best in Southern Gospel music including the legendary J.D. Sumner and the Stamps Quartet, long time back-up vocals for Elvis . In addition to his successful Southern Gospel agency, a Fairs and Festivals division was added soon after opening its doors which quickly became a success and was eventually lead by Teresa Simmons.
Attention to detail, tenacity of follow through and making the client priority are just a few of the key elements Teresa Simmons was taught and those of which she continues to maintain and provide for every client at tspi.
